Sunday, June 3rd saw some of the biggest celebrations the UK has ever seen in aid of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Of course, all eyes were on the Royal fashionista Kate Middleton who didn’t disappoint in a customised red 2010 Alexander McQueen dress with pleated skirt.

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Cadogan Pier to board the Royal River Barge in the red dress accessorised with her loyal LK Bennett Nude heels, Kiki citrine drop earrings, maritime-themed brooch, a small red clutch bag, Sylvia Fletcher for James Lock & Co fascinator and a Strathearn tartan scarf which she wore later on in the day when the wind had turned.

Kate’s dress was customised with a longer length skirt and sleeves and the eagle-eyed fashion lovers among you might recognise the dress after celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and X Factor’s Tulisa were both pictured in it.

McQueen is a firm favourite of Kate’s as the Duchess commissioned her wedding dress to be made by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Of course, we think Kate looks very regal in the dress and it was a great choice for the celebrations.
