Elizabeth Hurley Engaged! Who Will Design Her Wedding Dress?
Good news for Elizabeth Hurley and her Australian boyfriend Shane Warne as it has been announced that they are now engaged! Shane pop the question to Miss Hurley on Friday and after 10 months of dating, she said has supposedly yes!
The news was announced on Twitter with Liz posting a picture of the couple with the message “Thanks for all your congratulations!” A date for the wedding has not been announced but we don’t expect it will be that long before the pair will tie the knot.
Like any engagement announcement, the next step for any high profile celebrity like Liz is to start searching for one of the most important things for a lady on her wedding day…the wedding dress. We talked about it for months when Kate Middleton announced her engagement to Prince William and also when Kate Moss decided to get hitched. Although we don’t expect the same secrecy as Kate Middleton’s dress, we do know it will be designed by one of the popular designers. Something Old
Remember last time when Elizabeth Hurley married. She wore a beautiful Verasace gown designed by her friend, Donatella. So will she let history repeat itself and let her design her dress again. It is obvious that the Versace cut falls elegantly on Liz slender frame but will she decide to steer clear of Versace wedding gowns as it could be a sign of a bad omen as her last marriage didn’t work out.
Something Different
Will Elizabeth, like Kate Middleton stick to her British roots and allow her dress to be designed by Alexander McQueen? It could definitely be a likely choice especially if Elizabeth is known for wanting something different. She wasn’t afraid to get creative when she married Indian Businessman, Arun a few years back and wore the traditional Indian outfit so maybe she wants to push the boundaries again.
Something Simple
As it is Elizabeth Hurley’s second marriage, could we expect something very simple? Sometimes women opt for this because they have done the big fairytale wedding before so maybe Liz might surprise us and tie the knot of an exotic beach resort or the local registry office so maybe a simple dress might do the trick. Although it might be an idea for many ladies, I think this is the unlikely choice out of the three.
