Stylish Kitchens: Add Colourful Accessories to a White Kitchen

Submitted by on Wednesday, 16 March 2011 | No Comment

Colour is a key trend this season.  You can already see how a dull and white bathroom can be transformed into a vibrant blue bathroom with just a quick and easy update.  Another important room in your house has to be the kitchen.  The kitchen is where the creativity and enthusiasm starts, and for many people a place to feed their grumbling stomachs.

However just like any room, you can also add some colour without having to pay the earth.  Bold colours are in this season and we saw a few inspirational ideas at the Ideal Home Show last week.  Just like clothes team your hot pinks with your reds to create a truly inspiring kitchen.

As I am having a few renovations done to my home, one of them is my kitchen.  At the moment it is a pine wood kitchen which has seen it’s last day and will be glad to be rid of it.  As it is quite small, I am opting for white or cream gloss units and accessorising with splashes of colour so if I get sick of the colour then I can change it.

I love this kitchen above.  Epitomising this season trend of bright vibrant colours mixed together this kitchen is definitely a great idea for someone like me or someone who is looking to update their look.  All you need to do is accessorise well with colour.
