Beckham mania swept through London as the news spread that the man himself would be appearing at the Regent Street store in London. Of course, the news was only released shortly before 4pm via the H&M Twitter account, but hundreds were able to flock to the store at short notice.

The flagship H&M store featured large window displays of Beckham and several silver mannequins wearing nothing other than a pair of boxer shorts. David Beckham himself wrapped up for the cold weather in a chunky cream cardigan, stonewashed jeans and boots. Talking about the new range, which features vests, briefs, T-shirts and pyjamas for men, the football player turned fashion designer said: “I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I’m very happy with the end result and I hope H&M’s male customers will be as excited as I am.”

The Duke of Cambridge made it to number 27 in the list in 2011 but has now dropped out of the 2012 list completely, making way for another dapper dresser.

The magazine has credited Tinie as having a “true passion for elegance and proportions” and he’s beaten the likes of Prince Harry, Doctor Who actor Matt Smith and Robert Pattinson, to the top spot.

Although Prince William has been knocked out of the list, his brother Harry and father, Prince Charles, have both earnt places at numbers 25 and 50. Talking about Harry’s place on the list, the magazine said: “His brother may end up as king, but this year the younger son has been crowned the prince of style” as he regularly looks good in “uniforms… well-cut suits (and) the dishevelled tumbling-out-of-a-nightclub jeans”.

Tinie Tempah has always been well known for his dapper dressing, choosing smart and tailored suits over the usual Rapper attire.

Their next collaboration, for Spring 2012 will be with none other than fashion label, Marni, who are famous for their original prints.

Marni Founder and Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni has created an entire Spring collection of clothing and accessories for both Men and Women which really captures the essence of Marni.

The collection will be available on March 8th 2012 in 260 stores worldwide and online.

Talking about the collection, Castiglioni said: “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.”

Fashion lovers can expect all over prints in strong colours, intended to be worn together in clashing fashion. Both African inspired and block prints can be expected within full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits. Guys can expect a relaxed take on menswear with softened colours and fabrics and a subtle hint of print.

This is bound to be another hugely popular collaboration for H&M, causing thousands of people to start queueing in the early hours of the morning in order to get their hands on it. We can’t wait to see the full collection.

It may have taken five years of careful research and deliberation, but finally, the range was made available from September this year exclusively in London’s Selfridges and Topman’s Oxford Circus store, but it has now been made available nationwide, from October 10th. Working alongside fragrance guru, Azzi Glasser, the creator of the Agent Provocateur parfum, Topman have created a selection of essential core hair and body products such as hair putty, body wash, deodorant and body spray as well as two new luxurious fragrances, Eau De Parfum No. 16 & 27.

Talking of the new range, Topman’s Design Director, Gordon Richardson said: “For Topman to be taken seriously in the toiletries arena it was crucial to make sure that we were able to produce a range of grooming products that were both affordable and luxurious at the same time. A first on the High St. we weren’t interested in producing a range just for the sake of it. The two fragrances from the High Street giant will make brilliant Christmas presents for your boyfriend/brother or friend. Eau De Parum No.16 gives a sense of cool, fresh air using three key notes of Bergamot, Poivre and woody accent, all amplified by the heart and base notes of Amber, Labdanum and musks.

No.27 exudes ingredients that are addictive and distinctive, such as Wildaccord of Clarysage, Anise and Neroli along with Vetiver and Nutmeg for added tenacity. Take a whiff of the scent and you’ll also find hints of Oakmoss, Frankincense, Cedarwood and skin penetrating musks, that are bound to be a hit.

Organised by Harvey Nichols events manager, Katherine Busby there were crowds of very stylish people mingling amongst themselves as they waited for the show to start. I soon started to feel the same atmospheric social buzz which surrounded me and I met two lovely Leeds Fashion bloggers, Jen from A Little Bird Told Me and Lucy from Miss Lucy Loves who were also at the event.

As we discussed blogging, fashion amongst other things I was then introduced to another fashion blogger, the eccentric and very lovable Elenor Snare from the blog Magic Square Foundation.

After more canapes and mingling, we were directed towards the fashion show where Harvey Nichols presented their Autumn/Winter 2011 collections from a whole host of designers. As we took our place on the front row (ok…everyone did but still the fashion front row!) I managed to get some pictures of the collection as the models strutted down the catwalk and the fantastic thing about this is that unlike the fashion weeks of London and Paris, these collections could be bought there an then with my 10% Harvey Nichols voucher which accompanied my invite…

The catwalk show included some of the hottest trends which we are almost certain to see on this autumn and winter and I must say if I had enough cash to splash I would be spreeing on a few of these ‘to die for’ items.

Scene 1: Nostalgia

The grey and purples seemed to be colours for Harvey Nichols ‘Nostalgia’ theme, with both the ladies and the menswear sporting the trend as well as some of our favourites which included browns and black.

As well as the colours, fur seemed to be making a comeback however this time in a more subtle way with jackets embellished with the trend and scarves.

Scene 2: Fetish

Next scene was the ‘Fetish’ and I must say it the looks certainly got a few heads turning, with head to toe leather being one of them as well as some excitement from the crowds as female and male models posed in some very gorgeous and sexy underswear.

Scene 3: Print

One of my favourite trends was print.  Often autumn and winter brings the awakening of dark colours, and it is nice to see some vibrant colours and patterns hitting the scene and I was in love with some of the pieces from Harvey Nichols ‘Print’ collection.

Although, I loved some of the menswear trend, the Galliano jeans certainly caught my attention as they were plastered with newspaper style text, quite poignant given the recent news of his arrest and court appearance.

Scene 4: Androgyny

Next up was ‘Androgyny’ fusing the traditional distinction between male and female fashion.  My favourite look had to be the white shirt from 3.1, the Wang leggings and bag and the Edelman shoes, showing that the Androgyny trend can look masculine as well as feminine in one.

For menwear, jeans tucked into boots and scarves around the waist seemed was cropping up on the runway, however I am not to sure how many men will adopt the latter trend.

Scene 4: Jewel Tones

Lastly ‘Jewel Tones’ showcased some gorgeous evening dresses with strong deep colours to make a show stopping statement.  However, I thought the white ‘Lavin’ dress with Louboutin bag and shoes, was a breath of fresh air from the long and flowy evening dresses likely to over power my petite frame.

For the men I was in love with the midnight blue jacket by Paul Smith, something which I can see many men flocking to get their hands on.

As the fashion show closed we were transported to the Harvey Nichols store to take a look, browse and even buy some of the gorgeous pieces in the collections.  Whilst browsing I met the bubbly Sabrina from Sabrina Suggests, talking to me about her shoe blog and her fetish from anything to do with shoes.

She was in awe of the Camila Skovgaard wedged boots pictured below, which we later learned that if unzipped they could be turned into ankle boots.  I love it when versatility takes place in fashion and boots like this justify us spending a little bit extra of quality and versatility.

After a browse round the store, we were taken to our seats to enjoy dinner with some more wonderful press people!  Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take pictures, however it might have been because I was too busy enjoying the food and the wonderful company all courtesy of Harvey Nichols and Katherine Busby.

It’s a rather nice change to see some actors starring in fashion campaigns and it’s even more refreshing that the photos show the guys looking relaxed and generally enjoying themselves. Shot by the designer, Scott Sternberg, the polaroid style photos have an air of geek chic about them and see the boys in a variety of normal situations, showcasing the label’s laid back looks.

Rupert, who played the lovable Ron Weasley in Harry Potter, can be seen in a variety of casual outfits, including beanie hat and sunglasses and casual jumpers, while Tom Felton, who played the notorious Draco Malfoy, showed off sophisticated shirts and trousers while sipping cocktails.

The shoot took place on August 9th at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles and personally we love the outcome. Rupert and Tom are a great fashionable partnership.

Launching today (August 11th), the capsule collection is an ode to high tailoring, chic and fitting 60′s styles ranging from $40 to $250. The 65 piece collection consists of casual and dressy pieces for men and women that can be worn day to day as well as in an office or other formal environment. Key pieces include a classic trench coat, high waisted skirts and tailored dresses as well as an array of accessories such as silk scarves, wallets, belts and hats.
