Celebrities such as Cheryl Cole, Jaime Winstone and Fearne Cotton have all been spotted in Rubin’s feminine and striking pieces for their slice of London cool, and collaborations with ASOS, Very.co.uk and Dune have further anchored the designer’s presence in the fashion industry.

SO, given the opportunity to review Olivia Rubin’s latest scarf, I figured it would be rude of me to turn the offer down. Olivia has designed this scarf to celebrate the new floral fragrance of Bold 2in1 Rose Blush & Peony, however these scarves are so exclusive that they can’t be bought in the shops!

Straight off, the colours are incredible; bright fuchsias, Barbie pinks and yellows exploded out of the box to whet my appetite. The scarf is of a good size – large enough to be simply slung round the neck for an easy splash of colour to your outfit, but can still play around with it in other ways.

You’ll be keeping your finger firmly on the fashion pulse with the floral trend with this scarf. It boasts a bold graphic print that is true Olivia Rubin style, almost reminiscent of pop art, with a wide fuchsia trim. It’s perfect for colour blocking with your summer wardrobe, or just for adding a refreshing burst for a plain outfit.

Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a one-season wear, however. The romantic pink hues will carry you right through to winter, while the September issues of the glossies are still very much pushing forward the printed accessories.

For the days when I just haven’t been feeling a scarf, I’ve tied the product to my bag-handle for an easy way to update my look.

For a girl that has more scarves than I even know what to do with, this will definitely be my first choice for when I want something a bit more luxurious.

Well the model scouts have been at it again, this time a bit closer to home. Last week international model Lily Cole returned to Gatwick airport to show off the two newest recruits of the model world.

Tessa Maye and David Searle, both 21 years of age, beat of thousands of other model hopefuls to win the Gatwick Runway Models competition, and under the watchful eye of fellow model icon Lily Cole, the pair walked away as the new faces of Storm Model Management.

The pair were lucky enough to spend the day being coached in how to walk and pose by none other than catwalk queen Jade Parfitt. Model Jade has walked for designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Dior and helped the models overcome their nerves to take the title.

Tessa and David not only get a modelling contract with storm, but also got the chance for their first paid event at the London Gatwick Fashion Week last week.
