Sarah Jessica Parker’s Style: Spotted in a Purple Halston Heritage Fall 2011 gown at the Robin Hood Foundation Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the worlds biggest style icons and even her character, Carrie Bradshaw was a style guru and fashion lover in the Sex and the City series and movies. At points the actress and her alter ego’s style has often morphed into one, inspiring fashionistas the world over.

The A-lister was recently spotted in a rather casual dress when she appeared at the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in New York City recently. Although the dress looks particularly casual, the dress is actually a designer gown from the Halston Heritage Fall 2011 collection. The gown, a purple sweater maxi dress, comes with a full length matching purple cardigan that SJP carried on her arm. She teamed the gown with diamond earrings and a marine blue clutch bag from the Fendi Fall 2011 collection.

The dress is cute and comfortable and perfect for the summer and we think it looks great on SJP, we’re just not so sure about the lion mane hair.
