Street Style: Printed Tees As Seen On Kathy

Another trend I have spied lately is the printed t shirt. In particular, vintage inspired designs have become really popular. Whether it be brand names, band promo t shirts or just simple designs, they are everywhere! I spotted Kathy wearing this Kings Of Leon t shirt the other day. Normally I wouldn’t bat an eyelid at anyone wearing this kind of t shirt, but the way she has styled it, and the distressed print of the t shirt, made me think of 1950s vintage. I love the cut off denim shorts and the scarf in her hair, and how it is all tied together with her accessories.

Kathy wears a t shirt from a Kings Of Leon concert, Cut Off Denim Shorts from Pop Boutique (Stores in London, Manchester & Liverpool) and Brogues by New Look.

To recreate Kathy’s look, go for a vintage style t shirt with a worn effect, and tuck this into some cut off denim shorts. Tie a scarf in your hair for an alternative to a head band, and team with frilled white ankle socks and brown lace up brogues. Accessorise with bangles and a satchel style bag.

For a twist on this look for colder months, add on some tights and go for brogue boots that come up higher than the ankles. Throw on a chunky granddad cardigan for casual wear, or a boyfriend blazer for a smarter look, and you have an outfit perfect for Autumn/Winter.
